American Government
This one semester course provides an understanding of the American Government system, including its historical and philosophical origins, its constitutional foundations, its basic institutions and their functions, and the ways in which citizens exercise influence of the system with special focus on the importance of citizen participation.

Economics

Economics presents the basic concepts of microeconomics and macroeconomics with an emphasis on the operation of the free market, choice, opportunity cost and the fact that incentives mater. Students will develop an economic way of thinking and problem solving to understand and apply basic economic principles to decisions they will make as consumers, members of the workforce, citizens, voters, and participants in a global marketplace.
Stock Market Simulation
